CB1 Review: (Almost) Literally a “Chill Pill” – Find Out Why It’s the Best Hemp Oil for Stress & Anxiety

One of the latest fads to slap the interwebs involves a controversial little plant called Cannabis.

Most famous for its ability to get you high, it turns out there’s a lot more to this hot button plant than meets the joint/bong/brownie…

Introducing Cannabidiol (CBD).

CBD is a compound in the Cannabis plant that has been a real hit nationwide in the last several months for its well-documented health benefits.

Unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive, which means it does NOT get you high. This makes CBD especially popular (and legal!) for people who want the health benefits of marijuana without the high (or the fines and potential jail time).

Mental health in particular is one arena in which CBD has shown significant promise, as multiple studies have found that it helps:

Unfortunately, there are a lot of inferior CBD products out there that fail to live up to these benefits. As with any new fad, there are copycats and scoundrels out there trying to take advantage of people seeking relief who don’t know any better.

Is CB1 the real deal or another letdown?

CB1 Hemp Oil has taken the internet by storm as one of the most popular CBD products for stress and anxiety.

Let’s see if it deserves that crown…

About the Company

CB1 is created by CRI Naturals, a company dedicated to creating research-backed alternative health supplements. From probiotics to fish oil to slimming teas, CRI Naturals has been at the cutting edge of scientifically formulated products that are both popular and effective.

CB1 Hemp Oil is their latest venture. According to ample customer reviews and industry experts, CB1 continues to advance the CRI Naturals reputation for success.

The CB1 Difference

To start with, let’s talk about what’s in CB1

Remember what I said about inferior CBD products? Well, here’s one of the most common problems with “Hemp Oil” products: There are two different kinds of “Hemp Oils.”

  1. Hemp Oil pressed from the seeds of the Cannabis plant. This is good stuff loaded with vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants, but it contains NO CBD. CBD is mostly found in the stalks of the Cannabis plant. While this type of “Hemp Oil” may be nutritious (provided the label is correct), it’s way too easy to accidentally buy the wrong product.
  2. Hemp Oil Concentrate extracted from the stalks of the Cannabis plant. Now THIS is the good stuff loaded with CBD. The process of extracting and isolating CBD is a complicated one that (if done right) involves blasting Cannabis with “supercritical” Carbon Dioxide. We here at Consumster aren’t quite scientifically literate enough to know WTF that means, but we know that it separates all the compounds within Cannabis, so that healthy CBD can be isolated from THC and all the other parts of Cannabis.

As you might have guessed CRI uses the latter method, ensuring that you get a legitimate dose of CBD in CB1 Hemp Oil.

What’s more: CB1 Hemp Oil is “full-spectrum.” That means CRI only filters out the THC, meaning you get CBD and all the vitamins and nutrients and antioxidants that come in regular hemp oil!

Speaking of dose…

Another strange issue with many CBD products involves misleading labelling.

Imagine you find a CBD product that looks like a happy load of relaxation in a convenient little bottle…

That bottle says it’s 1,000 ml of CBD oil…

That sounds great, right?

Then you look at the “Supplement Facts” part of the label and find that there’s actually only 3 mg of CBD in that oil! So you really found a mildly content smidgen of relaxation in a bottle…

This is really aggravating as a consumer, thinking that you found a solution to stress and anxiety, only to find that your CBD oil is essentially watered down to near uselessness…

Well, CB1 Hemp Oil doesn’t play those games. With CB1, you get exactly what’s on the label: 250 mg of CBD concentrate.

That means each dropper-full contains a lovely dose CBD, which should get your anxiety under control, your stress relieved, your depression oppressed, and make you feel happy as a clam at high tide… Without the “high” part, of course.

CRI said they were close to releasing a 500 mg version, which would be even better.

But why a dropper?

Simply put: Your body needs to absorb CBD in order to experience reduced anxiety and stress relief and all the other great benefits. As it turns out, there’s something called a “sublingual gland” underneath your tongue that happens to be the easiest, most efficient way for your body to absorb CBD.

Summary

All in all, we came to the conclusion that CB1 Hemp Oil lives up to the hype. CRI Naturals is a reputable USA-based company with FDA-compliant laboratories they use to produce all their products, and those two fun facts always score brownie points with us here at Consumster (“special” brownies… Just kidding… Or are we? hmmm). CRI didn’t change their tune with CB1. Even their Cannabis is grown in the USA (in Kentucky, of all places).

We passed around a sample bottle here at Consumster and can confirm we did not feel stressed at all the entire day. Granted, we rarely feel stressed here anyway. Still, we were a little more “relaxed” than usual and slept great that night. If you’re looking for a solution to stress, anxiety, or depression, we’re pretty confident CB1 Hemp Oil will leave you feeling satisfied. And if not? Well, CRI Naturals has a 90-Day Satisfaction Guarantee for all their products, where they will refund your purchase if you return your bottle within 90 days. Turns out they’re pretty confident CB1 will leave you feeling satisfied too.
